St. Xavier’s College of Management & Technology, Patna, organized DISHA 3.0, its annual Student Research and Counselling Symposium, bringing students valuable exposure to academic planning and career opportunities.
The event began with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony led by Chief Guest Mr. Abhyanand (Retd. IPS Officer & educationist), Fr. Dr. Martin Poras SJ, Dr. Piyush Sahay, Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, and student representatives. A graceful prayer dance by Jiya Kumari added to the ambience.
Dr. Piyush Sahay inaugurated the symposium, followed by an address from Fr. Martin Poras SJ, who highlighted the importance of discipline, research, and purposeful learning.
The keynote address by Mr. Abhyanand stood out as the highlight. Sharing insights from his Super 30 experience, he urged students to build strong foundations, work consistently, and stay focused on long-term goals.
An interactive Q&A session allowed students to directly engage with the dignitaries, making the discussion lively and informative.
Following the inaugural and keynote sessions, Part 3 students visited various college stalls, exploring academic projects, research displays, and career-related resources.
DISHA 3.0 concluded as a meaningful platform that encouraged students to learn, question, and discover new opportunities.
