The Placement Cell of St. Xavier’s College of Management and Technology, Patna, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), organized an insightful session on “Profile Building, Personal Branding and Careers Ahead” for all second-year students. The programme was conducted under the mentorship and guidance of Dr. Piyush Ranjan Sahay.
The session was led by Mr. Manish Barriarr, a distinguished academic achiever and career mentor. A CAT 99.9 percentile scorer, Bank of Baroda Probationary Officer qualifier, and MBA graduate from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi, with academic exposure from Oxford University, Mr. Barriarr shared valuable insights on strategic career planning. He is widely recognized for mentoring aspirants for CAT and government examinations (PO & SSC), having successfully guided over 5,000 candidates, including eight CAT 100 percentilers.
During his address, Mr. Barriarr emphasized the importance of structured profile building, developing a strong personal brand, and maintaining consistent skill enhancement to stay competitive in today’s dynamic professional landscape. He encouraged students to adopt a long-term vision for their careers while strategically aligning their academic achievements, internships, certifications, and extracurricular engagements with their professional aspirations.
The programme was efficiently anchored by Ms. Aayushi Ranjan, and the formal vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Roushni Kumari. Special appreciation was extended to the Entrepreneurship Development Cell team, led by Anuj Kumar (President), along with Manaswi, Shaurya Shreshth, Bittu Kumar, and Alvin, whose coordinated efforts ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the session.
The session proved to be highly informative, engaging, and motivating, equipping students with practical guidance and renewed confidence to build impactful and future-ready careers.
